Yesterday I was just talking to a friend over yahoo and he asked me that he never finds me online on facebook but always see my status updates,so at what time I come on facebook.I told him if m online so it means I am logged in to my facebook account too even if the window is not active but as so many friends are there cant chat and reply to all at that time if I am working on something as there is no invisible option till now on facebook

So here is a way using which if you wanna be online on facebook but at the same time you dont want to be online on facebook chat you can surely do that

1 ) Just login to your facebook account

2 ) 


At the bottom right on the chat window click on options

3 )


Once the options window pop ups on the top click on Go Offline thats it now you are offline on facebook chat but you also cant see who is online on chat its kinda you are not logged in to facebook messenger but apart from that you can access the whole website
