The more I meet people, the more people are ready to blog. People have knowledge of different fields and if they share it with others then good for everyone. Blogging is not that difficult now, the way it used to be when I started it long time back but yes proper blogging is still an art. To launch a blog, you don't need to have a domain, but if you own one then its good to have one :)

Blogging is no more a new word and very soon it would be one of the most demanding skill. Already I get too many calls to be a Technical Writer or Senior Technical Writer from so many companies though I prefer to write here or as a freelancer including my other blogs. Blogging world is increasing rapidly with the increase in technology and hence the demand of bloggers as well.

When I was new to the blogging world, then I learned and configured the webmaster tools for Google, Bing and Yahoo and after that I was only focused on the content. Yesterday, I launched the enterprise version of this blog and few other blogs are in queue for launch and re-launch including SoftwaresCommunity. So, I thought of adding those URLs in the webmaster tools for better search engine indexing.

Godaddy is one of the biggest domain registrar or atleast people are familiar with it. I started using the services of Godaddy around 12 years back when I linked neerajrawat.com to a WordPress installation. Like other people, even I was only aware of Godaddy and hence my domains were registered via it.

Google Apps Free Version is my favorite email hosting service where one used to get mulitiple (200 or more) user accounts. Unfortunately, Google has closed this free service though the paid version still exists and is a huge hit. I appreciate the way Google allowed its existing free users to continue using the service without any charge.

If you are reading this post then it simply means that you are relying on a computer for many of your daily tasks, if not all. I don't mind calling my computer as my best friend along with other gadgets that have become my friend and I need to take special care of all. But did it ever happen with you that someone called you informing about your own computer? Someone calling you to offer a help for free? And then asking for money after showing some fake results? You read it right it was all fake what they showed to you.

Buying domain name is not a difficult task but thinking of a nice domain is not an easy task as well. I remember, it took me around two months to think of "Experts Galaxy", can't say if it is a nice domain name or not but for me its everything and now a premium domain. After the domain purchase, the next step is to launch it using web development or by installing a CMS.

Google Domains is the latest product announcement from the company which is in beta at this point of time. I had registered many domains with Google via different registrars and recently transferred almost most of them to different registrars as I was facing issues in getting proper support. If you are a regular reader here then you might have read the post of transferring Experts Galaxy to another registrar.

Firefox and other browser vendors are launching a new version every now and then with new changes in the working of the browser. Few days back, Firefox released a new version and they ended the option or functionality of the add-on bar in the browser, where one of  my favorite add-on SearchStatus was located.

Security is a major concern in the digital world and thanks to Google who has launched the feature of 2-Step verification after which many other companies launched the same or similar service. Most of the companies, atleast the giant ones are provinding the feature of 2-Step Verification so that the users can protect their account from unauthorized access. Though, all the companies are still not providing the security feature and if few are providing then all the users are not using the feature, keeping their accounts at risk.

Browser war is still going on and many new browsers are coming for PC and mobile users. Among all, the main battle is between Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome only, at least as of now. Chrome is almost near to be my primary browser and still, I use it a lot because of the functionality and options it provides. Firefox really needs to ramp up the code if it wants to be a competitor else I won't be surprised if most of its users like many other would switch to Chrome.

If you are using a slow internet connection then downloading stuff from internet is a tedious task. Download freaks, specially in those countries where high speed internet is not easily available must use a download manager for efficient downloading. I keep on playing with different Operating Systems be it for home users or for Servers and to do that, I download the latest trail versions from Microsoft or different flavors of Linux. Most of the time my computers are busy downloading stuff from the internet and if I am busy somewhere else then they do it smartly using IDM, be it the videos from Youtube or any other software.

There are millions of websites over the web and similarly the trend of blogging is increasing. In the coming years, I think blogging will be considered as the prominent branch of computers or something closely related to computers. The numbers of bloggers are increasing rapidly as one can express their views, share tutorials, the good and the bad experiences of life with everyone over the web.

I have used different remote access software while working for different companies and personally as well but among all those TeamViewer is still my favorite one. It has one of the finest interface or we can say that a simple to use GUI that even a newbie can just run and provide the credentials so that the technician can remotely access their system to resolve the computer issues.

Gmail is my primary email provider like many other users and I like to access it wherever possible. Around six months back I switched to Android platform and configured the Gmail mobile application to access my accounts. At that time, it was easy to add an account  in the mobile application by visiting the settings option however later on they upgraded the mobile application and the option was no more available in the app.

Internet is expanding rapidly and hence the number of blogs and websites, as a result more and more domain names are getting registered from different registrars. Earlier GoDaddy was one of the famous registrars but now many other are there in the market and changing the older trends of domain registration. Many GoDaddy customers are switching to different registrars and Name.com is one of them.

Now a days VPN is a good service package that users love to use on their devices that are connected to internet. Many people use a VPN service just to be anonymous on the internet despite knowing the fact how their identity can be misused. After the PRISM controversy in the US, people are scared or concern about their privacy over the web. Even I agree with the tagline "Security & Privacy are not optional" on the Mozilla Firefox Start Page.

Apple & Samsung both are competing to get the top rank in the mobile market. I do not think if any other company is in the race as of now however there are many brands in the market and we can not predict the next revolution. Samsung smart phones are using Android OS and hence Gmail can be easily used to configure the Google Play store however Apple has everything of its own, the hardware, the software and hence we need a separate Apple ID to use the services from Apple. Apple ID is a unique ID that can be used on iTunes store, iCloud and other services provided by Apple.
