Facebook has recently integrated the video chat option for its users to enhance their chat experience,I dont use Facebook chat much and instead prefer Yahoo Messenger for chat with my friends as in FB we dont have the option to go invisible which is a must to get feature in any chat application according to me.Instead of invisible mode there is a method using that you can select with whom you wish to chat or not.
It would be better if we can get the single click invisible option like in Yahoo,Gtalk & other messengers instead of performing the steps below,after all its about user experience but anyhow if you are addicted to the social network you need to complete the steps as you cant chat with all friends simultaneously.Lets see how to change your chat settings ?
1 ) Click on friend list at top left of your chat window
2 ) Click on create a new list >> type the name of the list >> press enter
3 ) You can create multiple list like this
4 ) Click the edit icon next to any list so that you can add or remove friends
5 ) Search for your friends,select them and click save list at bottom right
6 ) Now you can turn on/off the chat option for either of the list depending upon with whom you want to chat or not
Note: As if now dont upgrade to the new version of facebook chat,as it doesnt include the feature to create a list.If you have already created the list then you can turn on/off the feature for any list but cant create newone.Hope Facebook will fix this soon
